Workplace Habits

3/14/2025

Someone told me recently, I need to get out of this bad habit that I’ve fallen into.

OK, awareness is curative.

A habit developing practice that Ben Franklin implemented over 250 years ago still holds value today.

The liberties taken here (no pun intended) are in applying the concept to the world of work.

Who do you admire the most? Write down their qualities.

Who do you find to be the most reprehensible? Write down their qualities.

What habits do you want to develop for yourself?

What habits do you want to avoid?

Put into practice what you like and avoid what you don’t.

Stay the course.

Habits shall be created.

Easier said than done … implementation is key!

It is easier to prevent bad habits, than it is to break them. – Ben Franklin

My best work habit … planning during off-hours.

My worst (or at least one of them) … never saying ‘no’ to the treats in the kitchen … which leads to the next … to the next.

I wonder how he’d manage saying ‘no’ to the donuts in the kitchen.

35-67 degrees, getting warmer.

Make it a great day!
