Starting a Career

Had a conversation with a family member over the weekend.

He’s starting a career at first professional job.

My unsolicited advice … ha.

If … you want to do well:

1. Set the pace for work ethic, always be early, stay late if you can, stay in touch via email when you’re not working.

2. Make yourself available for challenges, take on new projects, volunteer, it’s ok to ask for help, but only after you’ve really tried to figure it out yourself and have reached a sticking point.

3. Zoom Calls – Turn on your camera.

4. Never dress under … it’s ok to dress a level or two up … but never under.

5. Know what you are accountable for … and then deliver.

57-83, clouds.

Make it a great Monday, everyone!
