I’ve jumped in lately helping source candidates for our recruiters.

All hands on deck.

Thousands of resumes.

Here is what I see in the market.

There are a lot of good people looking for positions, who are out of work. But still, there are shortages of people with specific skills that are needed by corporations.

The gap between being employed and not employed in 2024 lies in skill sets.

There is a huge opportunity for companies to hire motivated people and train them.

Also perhaps an opportunity for an unemployed person to reinvent themselves.


People needed in the trades is at an all-time high.

Also attached in the comments below is an article on professional skills needed in 2024 and beyond. The world Economic Forum predicts in the upcoming years that 83M jobs will be lost and 69M new ones created.
