Over-Communication for the Win

A consultant has pinged me several times recently, on the importance of ‘Stay Interviews’ … proactively meeting with people who work for the company.

Sounds good to me … great idea.

Over the course of time, these have also been called reviews, progress meetings, desk meetings, desk updates, etc.

We try to meet with our people as much as possible, we use the term ‘huddle-up’.

What you call it doesn’t matter … but what has always mattered, is for people to communicate internally … over-communication being the goal.

Healthy communication should go both ways … up and down the food chain.

Tougher to do in the remote world.

All channels matter (phone, F2F, video, text, email, social media).

Curious on what you are doing at your company, to communicate, or over-communicate with your associates and managers?

Heat wave. 75-91, sun, clouds.

Make it a great day, everyone!
