We recently placed a candidate in a new position.

New position in this case, meant one that didn’t exist before.

Because the technology was brand new.

Open mind recruiting.

Would you consider a position like this?

Would you be open to this type of role?

Etc.

It was an interesting search.

95% of the people we spoke with were not interested in making the move to this risky endeavor.

5% were open to the conversation.

One wonderful person was eventually offered the position and accepted.

Trying something new or different can be risky.

But it also can be stimulating.

For 2+ years, I was dead set against getting Bandit, our 2nd dog …..
