We’re going the other way here at SCN – Search Consulting Network.

Major office upgrades and expansion underway.

Just ahead of a possible commercial real estate bubble, disaster.

Before Covid, we were 100% in the office.

During Covid, full remote.

Post Covid, hybrid and mostly remote.

Now we’re switching back to hybrid, remote, but also concentrated times here in the office.

It’s more clear than ever, that while things constantly change on the outside.

We’re still human beings.

And we are fundamentally the same on the inside.

Social creatures.

F2F is more impactful than zoom meetings .. or isolation.

We need some interaction with others, even if just a day a week, or every other week, etc.

The spirit of working with others … comradery … human support.

So, we’re going against the grain, and improving our facility, so that it’s more hospitable for our associates.

And putting more emphasis on at least some face time when possible.


Team Days … groups of remote workers, huddling up and working together in a close proximity.

1 day out of 5, or 9 days .. here under the same roof.


Then we’ll see where things go from there.

The biggest measure will be two-fold:

1. Associate feedback

2. Client service … did it improve … or decline?


Excited about 2024 and beyond.

Zeroing in … on the best in person touch formula to serve our associates …. and our clients.
