Managing Director Insights

Molasses

2/19/2025

We had a candidate in process for a tight market sales position, that we thought was going to offer stage.

The company pulled back.

They felt the candidate wasn’t truly interested because of the length of time between responses to questions, and invites for next steps in the process.

The candidate was interested, but they were just busy.

Didn’t matter.

The tea leaves were read, slow as molasses.

Not right for them.

It’s always good to reply quickly if you are interviewing and if you are interested in the opportunity.

Next candidate going in for this client … jumping jacks in the lobby, calling out the name of the company, after every 5 reps.

5-20 degrees, cold. But we’re getting used to it.

Make it a great day, everyone!
