Truly developing as a professional is perhaps the single greatest opportunity that exists in the world of work today.


Gathering information can be great … as long as the information is coming from accurate sources … and from thoughtful people.


But gathering information … is not professional development.

And many think it is.


Professional development primarily happens in two ways:

1. Through human interaction with others (managers, trainers, educators, co-workers) … nugget, by nugget … over extended periods of time.

2. The completion … (not just an attempt) … of difficult … even arduous tasks.



If getting ahead … and sustaining employment in a position is of interest …

Make sure you properly develop in your area of expertise.

Seek out employment, where development can occur.


The investment paybacks are limitless!
