The biggest differentiator between companies in the world of work today is the investments that companies are / are not making with their employees.

Long term outlook vs. short-term outlook.

Strategy … mindset … core value … belief system … executive leadership influence.


Does the company look at human capital as an investment … or as a cost?


During Covid … it shifted quickly to cost.

During the immediate time post covid hiring spree … companies were mostly investing.

I’m seeing mixed signals today, and because of this huge separation between competitors in niche markets.

I think the companies who invest for the long-term will win in the long-term.
