Getting Ahead of Layoffs

Recently, a candidate was hesitant to interview. Was content in his job.

We recruited him hard. Was a match for our client.

He took one interview. Then backed out.

Week later. He was laid off (unexpectedly). His employer was doing well … just not well enough in the quarter. Brutal.

He jumped back into the interview process with us.

Hired and started with minimal time out of the game.

Unexpected layoffs are only going to increase with corporate ruthlessness and remote work.
