We had a client recently who wanted to make an offer to a candidate.
Great news, right?
But we had some good information that suggested this candidate would not be a good fit, certainly not for the long-term.
We had no other viable candidates at the time.
However, we still told the client, and they passed on the candidate.
And the search goes on.
The only way to last in 3rd party recruiting, is to always have the best interests in mind for the client.
Even if it costs a sale.
