An early career candidate reached out to us recently.

“I know I’ve got to build some credibility before jumping to my next position. But my company has just been sold and it’s crazy over here right now”.

Corporate chaos.

It happens during a career more often than it doesn’t.

There’s no unwritten rule that says you have to stay, if things get crazy.

But if you make a move, try to make sure it’s a step in the right direction.

Don’t panic, and leave, just to go into a situation that sends you off-track.

The biggest mistake I see is people jump from the pot to the proverbial frying pan, because they were so anxious to get out of the pot.

When chaos happens.

Fight through.

You still have a job.

But actively search for a new position, and look for something that helps you build off of where you started.

It’s best to be selective.

And when the right situation presents itself … run …..

Snow last night shown in the video. But good weather season must be here, because it didn’t stick.

A bit of a snow flurry this morning, and then 43 degrees by noon! But then, rain.

Weather chaos.
