Cassie was a competitive gymnast for many years.

Covid hit when she was in 8th grade, and like millions of people her life got turned upside down on a dime.

Gyms closed, she grew three inches in 3 weeks, and other changes prevented gymnastics even from being an option for her anymore.

Then off to a new school for 9th grade, which was largely remote, and if in person fully masked.

A challenging time for Cassie.

And for anyone who came near her .. (parents of teenagers know … ha).


Last summer an exceptional coach took a personal interest in developing her.

And she’s been binge training ever since.


This past weekend at the AAU National meet:

7th in Tower
12th in 3M 
16th in 1M


None of this would have been possible if it weren’t for one, special coach.



Coaches, managers, and leaders have tremendous opportunities to impact lives.


And as a parent of a former covid teenager … I am most appreciative 😊.


60-81 and sunny, perfect.
