Blind Spots

3/17/2025

I heard from a high level VP candidate in the market recently.

She is frustrated, because someone at her peer level is making strategy moves that don’t make sense.

These decisions impact the whole organization, and it’s gotten to a breaking point.

She’s now looking on the outside for a new position.

Do you like the “President / CEO” of or you company?

Yes, he’s great overall.

But for some reason, he has a blind spot for this other VP.

When President / CEOs enable leaders to make moves that are to the detriment of the company, it’s on them.

Each day that passes, without making a change just makes the damage worse.

It permeates.

Corporate executives make the big bucks, but the position comes with incredible responsibility and commitment.

I’m curious if you’ve seen this before in your workplace?

28-45, sunshine. It’s trying to warm up here in SE-MI. I even got in 9 over the weekend.

Make it a great St. Patrick’s Day, everyone!
