We made a placement with a client recently.
There were 4 other candidates that ‘fell off’ at the end of the process with this position!
In each case, we delivered excellent candidates to the client, in a very tight candidate pool.
It’s very challenging to fill difficult roles, but to deliver 5 candidates who made it to the end of the process mutually exclusively is incredible work.
The client is appreciative.
They realize the challenges faced and the services delivered.

We’ll do whatever we can for this company and other clients who operate like this.
Sometimes clients think its best to use a lot of recruiters … make them compete, more candidates.
Recruiters know how to play the numbers though, and if they know other recruiters are involved, they’ll typically dip their toe in the water on the search and headhunt a person or two.
Headhunting though is not deep, committed search consulting and recruitment.
It’s the close and strategic relationships that get the best bang for the buck with search consulting and recruiting services.
Less recruiters = more service and more commitment = better candidate flow.
