A Michigan Man, he received his BSME from the University of Michigan, and then went on to get a MSME from Purdue University, and then received an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

He progressed through many roles in industry and for the past 11+ years has served as the Vice President, Business Development of Wildcat Discovery Technologies.
