Show What You Have to Offer

Trade Show Insights

I had the pleasure of visiting the SAE Mobility History Committee at #WXC this week!

4/19/2023

“The Evolution of the Personal Luxury Vehicle” was featured – and those cars were beautiful!

’57 Ford Thunderbird
’59 Ford Thunderbird
’62 Studebaker
’65 Buick Riviera
’67 Oldsmobile Toronado

The display ended with the 2023 Cadillac Liriq – talk about a monumental transformation in both safety features and energy solutions.

The luxury vehicles featured were high end, the best of the best.

Now, the automotive industry has placed an emphasis on environmental sustainability and safety standards.

The luxury, and all other, vehicles are focused on electric models to reduce emissions. In terms of safety, they also have multiple features to reduce accidents and distracted driving.

As technology continues to advance, it will be interesting to see how these trends evolve in the years to come.

On another note, I would love to see some of these original beauties restored to reflect today’s energy-efficient standards.
