Fred Heegan joined SCN as a Search Consultant in 2015. Fred is also the Practice Director of the SCN Purchasing and Supply Chain Group. Fred’s primary focus is consulting with clients and placing candidates within the Purchasing and Supply Chain space, from entry level professional up to and through the Executive Suite.

Also, through the capabilities of the SCN Recruiting Team, Fred is able to provide Industry Specific Recruiting solutions (Sales, Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing) for manufacturers within the Vehicles space.

He has 28+ years of success in the Automotive Purchasing and Supply Chain space. His experience includes global leadership positions at various OEM and Tier 1 suppliers including a Global Vice President Of Purchasing for Tier 1 Supplier with over $2 Billion in Spend.

Fred has also held roles in Program/Project Purchasing, Global Commodity Management/Strategic Sourcing, MRO/Capital Equipment Purchasing, Supplier Quality, Production Planning/Control, Customer Service, Inventory/Warehouse management, Logistics, Tooling Engineering and Operations Management.

Fred received his MBA from The Ohio State University and received his BSBA degree from Bowling Green State University with a double major in Production Operations Management and Procurement Materials Management.
