I had a nice conversation with Akihito Kimura recently and he shared some insight on the semiconductor space.

Akihito shared, “The need for semiconductors in automotive is growing, because of the increase of electronics on the vehicle.”

He continued, “Sensors and microprocessors are also in high demand and again the growth is a as result of autonomous, ADAS and electrification needs.  ADAS and electrification are here today and autonomous is still about 10-20 years out – it’s going to take a long time to get all cars and roads converted.”

The market is changing which requires companies and people to adapt!
