I had a nice conversation with Keith Fleming regarding the vehicle sector, and the future of the market.

Ken shared, “I am confident that the Automotive industry will continue its upwards trajectory.  If you look at industry date, such as the most recent Wards Intelligence numbers, the SAAR is on pace for 16.2M vehicles, which is down slightly from previous years, but given the events of COVID-19, this number shows a great rebound in 2021 and beyond”.

He continued, “With OEMs focusing on new technology and next generation vehicles, platforms, services, the Automotive market will continue its stronghold in the US economy. I am looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities for all Automotive suppliers”.

The vehicle sector had it’s challenges during 2020 just like most other industries in advanced manufacturing, but the vehicle sector is the heartbeat of America and it will come back stronger than ever, right there with the USA!
