The Use of AI
2/23/2024
There’s no arguing that ChatGPT, Bard and other AI are becoming used more and more by the second, and they can be great tools.
However, relying on them to type everything from emails to social media posts can hinder your own personal development as well as raise eyebrows from regular users of AI.
After enough use, it becomes rather simple to determine if the content you’re reading was created by AI due to the word choice, grammar and emoji/smileys used. This can have disastrous results such as a lack of a trust between you and the reader/recepient of your material and the potential of sounding the exact same as hundreds of other users.
It’s great to get ideas and information from AI as a resource, but to use it in place of your own thoughts and ideas does far more harm than good, even in someone’s own personal development outside of work.
