Position Highlights

· Title: Thermal Engineer
Background Requirements
· BS Mechanical Engineering degree
· 8+ years of experience in refrigerant systems
· Advanced understanding of climate control and thermal systems
· Advanced skills in refrigerant subsystems and heat pump and testing
· Proficient with daily operation of laboratory test cells including modifications
· Advanced skills in interpreting test data
· Proficient with Microsoft Excel and MATLAB
Job Responsibilities
· Manage day-to-day testing, test cell setups and technicians.
· Manage and give insight on airflow and EHAD (Evaporator Heater Airflow Distribution) testing.
· Lead scheduling, coordination, and completion of multiple refrigerant & thermal subsystems signoff testing, and provide signoff test reports for the programs and test procedures.
· Develop and provide the test plan consistent with program signoff timing supplied by customers.
· Design and coordinate bench and hardware builds for testing.
· Manage and interpret testing data and create test reports.
· Manage communication of test results to engineering and provide data driven problem solving related to the delivery of the testing.
· Manage official data repository where all data and official reports will be uploaded.
· Comply with facility safety and operating procedures.
· Resolve all equipment and onsite issues (Internal and external work orders,)
· Develop solutions and improvements for system testing, instrumentation, data acquisition
· Develop and support new test methods, hardware, equipment to improve testing and support Special tests

· Challenge: manage and oversee all Refrigerant and Thermal Sub System test descriptions, and execution, and coordinate part availability with the test plan
