Outside Sales Engineer

 

 

We are currently partnering with an exceptional company that provides metalworking products to the Industrial Sector through an established distribution network in the United States. Our Client is searching for a Technical Sales Engineer to work from a remote office within the assigned territory. This person is to be responsible for managing the sales and business development operations for an organization which manufactures metalworking cutting tools. This person will provide tactical and strategic sales leadership, driving revenue growth through direct sales calls and new business development.

 

 

Position Summary:

  • Develop and oversee sales strategies that will have a direct impact on the company’s revenue and profitability.
  • Lead, manage and teach all phases of the sales process from prospecting and presenting to negotiating and closing
  • Participates and encourages quality assessment, profitability, and improvement activities
  • Territory includes the DFW market and the state of Oklahoma.

 

 

MUST HAVES:

  • Minimum of 3+ years successful sales experience in the METALWORKING Industry (preferably metalworking cutting tools)
  • Proven ability to drive sales in a highly competitive market
  • Experience calling on an Industrial Distribution network
  • Planning skills, budgeting and forecasting experience
  • Flexible to travel overnight during the work week upwards of ~25-50% at times.
