Senior Manufacturing Engineering Leader


We are partnering with a world-class Global Manufacturer of Forklift Trucks looking for a dynamic Senior Manufacturing Engineering Leader.

Background Requirements


·         BS degree in either Industrial or Mechanical Engineering

·         5 years working in a combination of engineering and leadership roles with direct fabrication, welding, and assembly experiences in the general metalworking industry comprised of build-to-order discrete products

·         Experience as a core/functional lead team member within a New Product Introduction (NPI) / Product Development Process

·         Demonstrated proficiency leading global initiatives in a matrix organization

·         Skills and experience developing innovative / novel approaches to manufacturing challenges associated with fabrication tooling and systems

·         Ability to take a directional concept and develop detailed requirements and a structured program around conceptual development, prove out, and application

·         Proficiency in CAD / CAM / 3D Modelling with working understanding and application of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing highly desired


Job Responsibilities

·         Leads development and deployment of global tooling and fabrication manufacturing strategies, systems, technologies, and best practices, to drive global manufacturing capability advances that meet future business needs

·         Leads the companies tool design team for major weld fabrications and assembly tooling

·         Drives best common manufacturing processes and practices across the global network

·         Champions and represents global fabrication tooling and associated activities on New Product Development Programs

·         Contributes to virtual build, simulation, and overall manufacturing maturity initiatives

·         Identifies, mitigates, and monitors project risks to cost, schedule, budget, and project performance objectives
