Refrigerant Module Application Engineer

Position Highlight:
· Full-Time Direct Hire
· Title: Refrigerant Module Application Engineer
Background Requirements:
· Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; Mechanical Engineering preferred
· 5+ years of related experience preferred
· Demonstrated ability to design, develop, test, and launch complex assemblies.
· Understanding of heat transfer, fluids, materials, controls, instrumentation, structural, and NVH principles
· Experience integrating heat exchangers, fluid lines, compressors, and controls as refrigerant systems
· Able to interpret CFD and CAE/FEA results and utilize them to optimize system design
· U.S. Citizen
Position Responsibilities:
· Understand customer assembly and component specifications and ensure compliance with designs
· Lead module-level design and integration, collaborate, and direct component engineering
· Create and manage engineering statements of work (ESOWS) for all components of the RMA.
· Apply APQP to the application (i.e., DFMEA, SCIF, DFM/A, DVP&R, Dim/Tol analysis, proto Control Plan)
· Specify components aligned with Materials Engineering, Purchasing, and manufacturing strategies and functional requirements
