Position Highlights

· Full-Time Direct Hire

·    Title: Mechatronics Engineer

 

Background Requirements

·    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. (Master’s degree preferred)

·    Proven at least 5 years of professional experience in mechatronic system, hardware, software and / or integration.

·    Familiarity with Automotive SPICE and other quality / engineering tools (e.g. FMEA).

·    5 years or so experience working with pumps (preference to coolant), valves (preference to coolant) or brushless motors.

·    Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

·    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·    Self-starter, responsible, and structured work style, as well as the ability for analytical thinking.

·    Hands-on experience with hardware, sensors, actuators, motors, and other electromechanical components and its validation.

 

Job Responsibilities

·    Design and develop mechatronic systems and components, including hardware, mechanical structures, sensors, actuators, and control algorithms.

·    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.

·    Demonstrate a clear understanding of the next higher system and its integration requirements, ensuring alignment with overall system architecture.

·    Leverage knowledge of E/E (Electrical / Electronic) architecture to design and implement electrical systems that meet performance and safety requirements.

·    Conduct feasibility studies and performance evaluations to optimize system performance and reliability.

·    Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g. ISO 14229, ISO 26262) and regulations, including Automotive SPICE (Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination).

·    Document design specifications, test procedures, and project updates.

·    Stay current with advancements in mechatronics technology and recommend innovative solutions to improve product performance and efficiency.
