Position Highlights

• Title: Engineering Technician
• Full Time Direct Hire

Background Requirements

• Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree in technical field, Engineering or equivalent
• (preferred but not required)
• Ability to operate and maintain mechanical and hydraulic presses. (2-5 years of experience)
• Proficient with machine tools such as mill, surface grinder and lathe (2-5 years of experience)
• PC/Microsoft Office skills
• Drawing reading skills
• Basic CAD knowledge (NX, CREO)
• Problem solving skills
• Detail oriented and excellent organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and test installation tooling that will insure proper performance of joints between fasteners and installation panels
• Develop and machine fasteners used for prototyping process
• Assist in the development of new products for customer applications
• Test and validate performance of newly developed fasteners. Documentation in test reports
• Test and validate performance of released fasteners used in the new applications
• Modify tooling for validation of possible engineering change
• Provide Interface between other departments related to manufacturing/quality issues
• Develop solutions for manufacturing / quality issues together with the engineers
• Demonstrate the installation and testing capabilities to visiting customers
