We are partnering with our client who is an industry leader in the manufacture and assembly of precision transfer machines, looking for an Electrical Engineer.

Position Highlight:

·   Full Time Direct Hire

·   Title: Electrical Engineer

 

Background Requirements:

·   Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering preferred

·   An Associates or technical degree with relevant experience may be considered for a strong candidate

·   At least 3-5 years of experience in the field of industrial automation and control

·   Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic

·   Systems

·   experience with FANUC Robotics including troubleshooting, programming, and integration

·   Knowledge of electrical standards for industrial machinery such as NFPA 79

Position Responsibilities:

·   Perform complete electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control design analysis

·   PLC programming (Ladder and Function Block)

·   HMI software development (Visual Basic, C#, Windows Forms, WPF)

·   Review electrical schematics and control panel layouts (AutoCAD Electrical)

·   Integrate peripheral equipment (vision, robotics, etc.)

·   Work with vendors to control costs

·   Project management and assistance to Manufacturing and Assembly

·   Participates in design reviews, design approvals, and runoffs

·   Provides concept drawings, cost analysis, and documentation for proposals

·   Analyze throughput on machinery and make recommendations on how to improve efficiency

·   Identify and implement improvements for quality, cost, and uptime

·   Assist in troubleshooting equipment and train service techs on new equipment

·   Develop documentation including internal work instructions and operation manuals
