Position Highlights

·       Title: Account Manager, Southeast

·       Full Time Direct Hire

 

Background Requirements

·       Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Engineering, or equivalent,

·       Experience selling elastomers

·       5-7 years of technical marketing, engineering, or sales experience in the plastics industry.

·       Outside sales experience and/or Product development experience is preferred.

·       Demonstrated ability to develop new business and achieve profitable sales in highly competitive markets.

 

Job Responsibilities

·     Develops sales strategies and action plans for identified targets of opportunity.

·     Secures orders from existing and potential Customers by means of visiting the Customer facility or contacting by phone.

·     Obtains Customer specifications and secures opportunities to quote on Customer requirements.

·     Follows up (by phone or visit) on quotations submitted to Customers.

·     Establishes professional Customer/Vendor relationships with appropriate Customer personnel (Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Management, other key personnel).
