Employee Retention During the Covid Pandemic

I had a nice conversation with Rodney Stewart recently and he shared some insight on how is company has handled issues during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Rodney shared, “I received a 20-year award for work in Quality at Aisin.  I believe Aisin has done a great job during Covid to retain people because talent is the most important asset.”

He continued, “If people feel they’re part of the team and have a voice, for example through Kaizen, then they help the company be more profitable.  The human element is critical.”

All managers have a great opportunity to show their worth to employees during the pandemic, and like every difficult time some will play it smart and come out on top and others will make mistakes and damage their business.
